Why We Were Founded
ACCWE was created in response to a clear need: a more responsive, transparent, and outcomes-driven accrediting body for career and technical education.
For too long, institutions focused on workforce development have navigated cumbersome and outdated accreditation processes. ACCWE was founded to change that—to build an accreditation pathway that values flexibility, relevance, and institutional diversity, while upholding rigorous quality standards.
