Washington, D.C. – The Accrediting Council for Career and Workforce Education (ACCWE) today announced the official launch of its modernized accreditation model, designed to streamline processes, emphasize career outcomes, and better serve nontraditional institutions across the U.S.
"Our mission is to transform how accreditation supports schools and their students," said Dr. Jane Alvarez, Executive Director of ACCWE. "By focusing on equity, innovation, and real-world results, we aim to ensure that career education remains relevant and accessible."

The new model includes:
ACCWE is currently reviewing applications from a variety of career-focused institutions and anticipates announcing its first group of accredited schools later this year.
